Viking Kâğıt

Established in 1969 to supply products for the industrial paper sector, Viking Kağıt is Turkey’s first privately-owned paper mill. Since its foundation, the Company got a significant place in the sectors it is active in drawing on its well-trained and experienced employees espousing the visions of constant improvement and betterment and the mission of offering the best to the customers. Having entered the tissue sector in 1996 with toilet paper, towel and napkin products marketed under Lily, Senso and Select brands, Viking Kağıt made it a principle to respond to consumer needs and expectations, and to offer superior quality products. To keep this principle, the Company continually renewed and upgraded its products, and thus has been the name to introduce numerous products and properties that represent “firsts” in the Turkish tissue paper sector.  Launching the first ed sheet towels, the first cotton pulp-added toilet papers, the first three-ply and aloe vera-added toilet papers, and the first aloe vera-added towels, the Company has taken place among the pioneers that create the firsts in the sector.

Lily


Since 1996 ,it is step of Viking Kağıt  into the tissue paper sector, Lily has been the brand bringing the Company’s premium products to consumers.

In line with Yaşar Holding’s principle to introduce firsts, Lily constantly offers novelties to consumers. Closely associated with the brand owing to its starring in the commercials, “Lily the Duck” started appearing also on the packaging since 1999.

Offering a variety of products in toilet paper, towel, napkin and facial tissue categories, Lily created such products as “the first cotton pulp-added toilet paper”, “the first ed sheet paper towel”, “the first boxed folded towel” in Turkey and pioneered many novelties in the industry that were later followed by the competitors.

With the new launches finalized in the second half of 2006 and the converting line investment made in 2007, “three-ply toilet paper” and “three-ply towel” products were introduced to the market under Lily Plus brand name. Addressing the premium segment, Lily Plus products fulfill consumers’ expectations from toilet papers and towels at the highest extent.

Marketed since 1996, the two-ply and extra white product group was relaunched in 2007. The positioning efforts were brought to completion with Lily Extra Care in toilet paper and Lily Extra Power in towel categories.

With all its improved and upgraded products offered to the tissue sector, Lily will always keep presenting “values that exceed expectations”.For this purpose, Viking Kağıt  presented Lily Dolgun brand, which is superior features tissue papers more than standart two ply paper tissue in Turkey.

Senso

 
Born as an economical brand, Senso has been presented to the customers for many years with its most favorably priced products and established itself a firm place among the top brands in the economical segment.

The deinking facility, which was introduced in 2000, that is available only to Viking Kağıt in the tissue sector enables the Company to offer the two-ply, white and economical products consumers expect in the toilet paper and towel categories. Produced with recycled paper, Senso Bio toilet papers and towels are the most “environment friendly” products in the market.


Select


In line with its target set as asserting presence in both distribution channels at the time of entering the tissue sector, Viking Kağıt introduced Lily and Senso brands for the household channel, and started supplying the away-from-home channel with its Select brand.

Following the innovations and improvements carried out over the years and particularly in 2007, investment was made also in Select brand, and all product characteristics from the product content to product configuration were upgraded.

While the primary segments addressed by the brand initially covered toilet papers, towels and napkins, the product portfolio was enriched with the addition of new products preferred by professional institutions such as touchless dispenser towels, dispenser towels, dispenser napkins, jumbo toilet papers, jumbo industrial towels, couch covers etc. Having become a brand demanded by professional customers, Select is now the second brand in the sector.
