Kemal Semerciler was born in 1958. He completed his higher education at Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Kemal Semerciler, who started his carrier as deputy inspector at Yapı Kredi Bank in 1981, worked as a director at Budget and Finance Control, General Accounting and Financial Affairs division between 1990-2003. Between 2004-2006, he worked as Chairperson of Inspection Board. He worked as Assistant General Manager at Regulatory department between 2006-2008. He was General Manager Advisor at Yapı Kredi Bank between 2008-2009. During his job at Yapı Kredi Bank, he performed the duties of Board of Directors Member and Auditor at several affiliates of the bank and he was a Member of the Board of Directors at Alternatifbank between March 2010 and March 2016. He still works as an advisor in corporate management, project finance and financial reconstructing areas. He is a member of the board of directors of some companies within Yaşar Group and also at Yaşar Holding.
