Hakkı Hikmet Altan graduated from Middle East Technical University, Business Administration Department in 1985. Hakkı Hikmet Altan, who served at Desa and Pınar-Cargill companies of Yaşar Group between 1985-1988, worked as financial affairs manager at tourism and foreign trade companies outside of Yaşar Group as of 1989. In 1993, he rejoined the Yaşar Group. He worked as Assistant General Manager at Yaşar International Textile Company and Yaşar Foreign Trade Company, respectively. In 2001, he was appointed as Yaşar Holding Financial Coordinator. Between 2007-2009, he worked as Vice Chairperson in charge of Yaşar Group Foreign Trade Companies. Hakkı Hikmet Altan was CFO between April 2009 and March 2021, and he continued to perform his responsibilities related to Foreign Trade Companies. While performing these roles, he also had been a Board of Directors Member in different companies of Yaşar Group. Hakkı Hikmet Altan still continues his duties as Board of Directors Member of Yaşar Holding A.Ş and other companies of the Group, and he also assumes responsibilities in several non-governmental organizations.
