Adnan Akan

Adnan Akan graduated from Bogazici University, Business Administration Department in 1993. Adnan Akan started his career in 1993 as an Audit Assistant at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) Türkiye, and has held numerous roles within the company since then. He was a Senior Audit Manager in PwC's Budapest office between 1998-2000 and he participated in the Leadership Development Programme in India in 2001.
Adnan Akan was made Partner in 2002, and concurrently held the positions of Country Leader Responsible for EMEA Retail and Consumer Products Sector, as well as Leader of PwC Türkiye's Germany Desk between 2002 and 2023. Furthermore, he became an Executive Partner in 2012, and served as the Leader of Audit Services at the Türkiye office between 2012 and 2020.
Adnan Akan quit his job at PwC at the end of June 2023. He is a board member of some of the companies within Yaşar Holding and the Yaşar Group. He is also a board member of the Corporate Governance Association of Türkiye.
