E. Feyhan Yaşar

Chair of the Board

Feyhan Yaşar began her career in 1978 at DYO, a Yaşar Group company. Later, she worked as an executive in finance and management for the Yaşar Group. After Selçuk Yaşar became the Honorary President, she assumed the position of Board Chair of Yaşar Holding between 2004 and 2009. After having served on the Boards of the Group companies for many years, Feyhan Yaşar assumed the position of Deputy President of Yaşar Holding between 2014 and 2021.

Feyhan Yaşar is the Board Chair of Yaşar Holding as of January 2022. She is also a member of the Boards of Directors of the Group companies. In addition to her professional career, Feyhan Yaşar is actively involved in many non-governmental organizations which support the development of society in the fields of education, culture, art and sports. She is the President of Yaşar Education and Culture Foundation’s Administrative Committee, Deputy President and a Board Member of Selçuk Yaşar Sports and Education Foundation, and a Member of Yaşar University's Board of Trustees.

In addition to her professional career, she served as a Board Member for TÜSİAD, as Chair of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey's Beverage Industry Assembly, and as Chair of DEİK's Denmark Business Council. She also participated in the annual DAVOS meetings through her World Economic Forum (WEF) Membership.

She is a Steering Committee Member for the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) United Arab Emirates Business Council, an EBSO Assembly Member, a Member of the Board of Trustees of SEV, Member of Boğaziçi University, a Member of the Board of Trustees of Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation a member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association), SETBİR (Union of Dairy, Beef, Food Industrialists and Producers of Turkey) and ESİAD (Aegean Industrialists and Business Persons Association). Since 2011, Feyhan Yaşar has been personally sponsoring the Teos Ancient City excavations by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Izmir-Seferihisar; and she has been the Honorary Consul of Luxemburg since 2014.

Feyhan Yaşar received her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Boğaziçi University, School of Administrative Sciences, and received her master's degree in Economics from Dokuz Eylül University. She speaks English and French.
